Space Booking
The objective of this project was to develop an online space booking portal that provides a user-friendly and secure platform for clients to search for, book, and pay for an array of spaces and space types.
This product offers real-time searching, conflict checking, room rental charges and secure online payments (if applicable), as well as connection to our order processing portal for catering and supplies. Accessible from anywhere, through mobile, tablet, and desktop devices, and designed to make the process of booking a space simple and fast.

PROCESS & RESPONSIBILITIES
One of the primary challenges we encounter when creating enterprise software is achieving a high level of configurability without compromising accessibility and visual appeal. This is particularly challenging when designing for diverse content types and languages from around the world, and in this case different venue sizes. Examples of clients that use this product include higher education establishments seeking to reserve rooms for meetings and campus events, event venues and expo centers offering a variety of spaces, as well as campgrounds and public areas providing options for different occasions. Since not all venues charge to book spaces, we had to accommodate for pricing and priceless options as well.
CHALLENGES
My role as product designer involves conceptualizing project needs, conducting user and market research, collaborating on wireframes, creating high-fidelity designs, and prototyping the products using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. To ensure our software stays relevant to evolving user needs, we consistently evaluate and enhance all of our products.

For this specific project, I was responsible for mobile and tablet wireframes, as well as final designs and prototypes for all platforms.
